Thanks so much, Nishta. I'm rewatching the scifi series Babylon 5 and am realizing the writer must have had Hindu theology on his mind. There's an alien culture in the show that believes the universe is a conscious entity that's broken itself into little pieces (including us) to understand all aspects of itself; they view individual souls as projections of that greater universal soul.
I guess by "had on his mind" I mean "ripped off wholesale."
